The goal of the MEMORI Corps intervention research study is to find out if providing personalized, virtual companion-guided service by trained Companion Guides can help people living with dementia living at home and support their care partner(s).

Who joined the study?
We recruited two groups of participants: 1) People living with dementia and their care partner(s) who reside together in the same home; and 2) Healthy volunteers 55 years of age and older to serve as Companion Guides.
Care Partners and People Living with Dementia
Eligible participants in this study were care partners of a person living with dementia and reside together in the same home. Download flyer
Companion Guides
Eligible participants in this study as a Companion Guide were 55 years of age or older and willing to serve as a virtual companion from the comfort of your own home. Download flyer
What happens in this study?
Free assessments of interests and well-being.
May meet with a friendly Companion Guide through your television for 12 weeks (5 hours/week).
Daily access to engaging physical and social activities.
Gift cards for $20 for each participant after each completed assessment.
Stipend of $200 per month for Companion Guides while actively serving.
